Main Idea Cut and Paste

This new product is a fun way for students to practice finding the main idea. Students will read the passage. Then they will cut out the three boxes at the bottom. They must decide which statement is the main idea and which two statements are the supporting details. If you need an activity to differentiate, these passages are also available with blank boxes. The students will have to come up with the main idea and supporting details. These passages are for sale in my store here.

                                

Thanksgiving Listening Center with QR Codes

I know some of you are still in school until Wednesday. Why not pick up this Thanksgiving Listening Center with QR Codes? Your students will love the stories. These would also be great for children who are traveling. You will need to download a QR code reader to your iPad or phone to be able to listen to the stories.

Using QR Codes As a Listening Center in the Classroom

Have you ever used QR codes with your listening centers? My students love them. They just have to use the iPad, or other electronic device, to scan the code. Once they scan the code, the story will come up as a Youtube video. Check out my Listening Center Bundle.
